The Umanitaria Society participates in the European project “Digital Skills Passport for Seniors,” managing the DigiSkiPass website. In this capacity, we inform you about the data processing related to you that occurs when you access and interact with the site.
Data Controller

Data Protection Officer
The Data Protection Officer (DPO) oversees compliance with personal data regulations and cooperates with the supervisory authority (the Italian Data Protection Authority).

Purposes and Legal Bases of Processing
Personal data is processed to pursue the institutional goals of the Umanitaria Society, based on the legitimate interest of the data controller in pursuing its statutory objectives (Art. 6 Par. 1 Lett. f) GDPR), as necessary for the implementation of the aforementioned project to which the website is dedicated, according to the specified purposes below:
Pursued Purposes
Regarding “navigation data,” which are the information systems and software procedures acquire during normal operation of this site, it should be noted that some personal data are implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. In other words, they are necessary to allow the browsing of the webpage, including IP addresses or domain names of the computers and terminals used by users, requested resource addresses, request times, methods used to submit requests to the server, file size obtained in response, numeric codes indicating the response status given by the server, and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computer environment.
Such data, necessary for the provision of web services, are also processed for the purpose of:
● obtaining statistical information on the use of services (most visited pages, number of visitors by time slot or daily, geographical areas of origin, etc.);
● checking the correct functioning of the services offered.
Navigation data does not persist for more than seven days (unless necessary for the investigation of crimes by the judicial authority).
Regarding data communicated directly by you, through the optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of messages to our contact addresses, as well as through the completion and submission of forms on the site (e.g., to download materials), we inform you that we will only process the data necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the communications.
Regarding “Cookies” and other tracking systems, we inform you that we do not use cookies for user profiling; the only processing performed relates to producing statistics, with pseudonymized data, on browsing the site. Technical session cookies (non-persistent) are used strictly as necessary for the secure and efficient navigation of the sites.
Recipients and Categories of Processed Data
The acquired personal data will be processed exclusively by authorized personnel, designated data processors to ensure the technical functioning of the site, as well as by the authorities responsible for monitoring and reporting on the project.
Transfer Abroad
Your personal data will not be transferred outside the European Union.
Data Retention Period and Criteria Used
The personal data subject to processing will be collected in documents whose retention is established in accordance with the purposes of processing, as summarized below:

Rights of the Data Subject
Data subjects have the right to obtain from the Data Controller, in cases provided for, access to their personal data and rectification or deletion of the same, or restriction of the processing concerning them, or to object to the processing (Articles 15 et seq. of the Regulation). The specific request to the Data Controller should be presented at the contact points indicated above.
Right to Complain
Data subjects who believe that the processing of their personal data by the Data Controller is in violation of the Regulation have the right to lodge a complaint with the Authority, as provided by Article 77 of the Regulation, or to seek appropriate judicial remedies (Article 79 of the Regulation).
